my holiday
My Holiday
During the first week of the holidays, I started
typing a new story on the computer about a cat’s story. It was about the cat
being taken to a pet shop and being cared for. The cat was a stray one and was
as happy as a boy being given sweets when it was living alone but changed his
mind when he saw the posh cages he got to be kept in.
A few days later, my dad bought four “Dairy
of the Wimpy kid” books. After I read my first book “The Ugly Truth”, I thought
it was AWESOME! So I couldn’t wait to read the others.
After that, I went to the movies. My mum wanted us
to watch the Box trolls but she got the time mixed up with the Teenage Mutant
Ninja Turtles. So I think you can guess what we ended up watching.

Donate to us
The salvation army is no ordaniry army. They battle poverty and hunger with food (I dont mean with cursterd pie!) but by providing food for the people that need it.The army helps children and families that don't meet the everday day standards of normal families.
They help by curing hunger in 126 different countries and they also help people cope with things they can't do like drugs, violence and missing people. They fight in justice and provide help for elderly.Sometimes people might have anger issues and they can provide tuturials for those people.
The slavation army's food bank helps the poor families and children with food. The slavation army gets food donated by you. They either get donated food, money to buy food or they get a box of food. These packets might include might include something for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food's not very fancy like pasta or chicken curry, but they its enough to get through a day (thats alot of weetbix!).
By buying our biscuts and popsicle people you are helping The Salvation Army fight poverty and help families to have a better life.
Look at this video and think about these people who have been abanded and now they live there lives in poverty. Some people dont think about these children.
